A Personal Story

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Although it was caught early and managed with medication, there was one lingering symptom that I couldn’t shake—constant fatigue. No matter how well my blood tests looked, and how well I would sleep, my energy levels were low, and I felt drained most of the time. That sparked a personal journey to find a holistic way to support my body.

I made some major changes. I quit alcohol and caffeine, increased the protein in my diet, and embraced a healthier lifestyle. But one thing I had never tried before was bone broth. As I researched, the benefits sounded too good to ignore—better gut health, a youthful appearance, faster recovery after workouts, and, most importantly for me, increased energy.

The name La Caldería ("lah kahl-deh-ree-ah") is deeply rooted in my heritage. It doesn’t have an exact English translation, but it roughly means “The Place Where Broth Is Made.” And not just any broth—the best kind.
